Please note, there are areas in Stamford that have no districted or preferred attendance area priority in the lottery.
Review your districted area and the preferred attendance area lists for Rogers International and Strawberry Hill Schools to better understand where your student(s) fall in the lottery procedures.

There will be two upcoming information sessions on the lottery process:
Thursday, September 21: 8 am via Zoom
Thursday, September 21: 6 pm via Zoom
We encourage you to attend & ask questions.
These are the questions we have:
For Rogers International, Strawberry Hill Magnet and Academy of Information Technology & Engineering in-town student acceptance is contingent on the 25% out-of-town student enrollment. With waitlists and open in-town student spaces what new initiatives and changes are being implemented to recruit out-of-town students?
If these schools are having difficulty meeting the 25% out-of-town and 75% in-town requirement, is there an option to file a waiver with the state? Can SPS please provide additional information on how this process works? Has the wavier already been filed with the state or is there any plan to?
Does SPS foresee any changes being implemented in the future for the preferred attendance areas to provide equitable access for students outside of these areas to attend Rogers International and Strawberry Hill schools?
