What happened on Scofield Bus 138? Why were the police called and why were parents NOT notified?

On Tuesday, May 2nd, the Board of Education met for the unveiling of Dr. Lucero's Vision 2025 (our full summary and analysis is coming soon, but let's just say it was underwhelming) and used the meeting to give an update on the bus incident many parents spoke about at the Public Comment on Tuesday, May 25th.


Here is a clip of a mother explaining the incident from her point of view which was limited to due to the lack of communication from the school about what happened:


Ryan Fealy, Director of Finance, gave the BOE an update on the situation. Following his update, the BOE members asked questions about procedures with a particular focus on the protocols for informing parents of incidents that involve the police.
